Elbow grease

I finally got tired of nagging the stinky boys to clean up the disgusting mess they made of the grout in the kitchen while I was away in Oregon so I used my elbow grease to get is as clean as possible. The bottom half is the color the grout was before cleaning and the top half is after. I was able to get about 3/4 of the kitchen done before my back started hurting. Now maybe they will feel guilty and finish the rest....yeah, right!

My new gym bag

Last week I started going to the gym before work because I just wasn't going after work anymore and the scale is telling me that I really need to go :). Since my gym is only 1.5 miles from my house I drive home to take a shower and get ready for work so I no longer need a big bag to carry a change of clothes/shoes. The solution to this problem? Make myself a gym bag of course! It has a pocket for a water bottle, one for keys, one for gym card, and one big pocket for my headphones. Hopefully this will work out better than carrying my big backpack.

All work and no play

I've been working way too much lately at my day job (10 years of service as of today, by the way) and haven't had time to work on much else in the last week. I did finish up 6 new purses that were in the works last night and started working on a prototype for a gym bag but nothing worth taking a picture of at this point.

I do want to take the time to recommend createforless.com. I have not had the time to browse through the whole website but the price on the stuff I bought was cheaper than Joann or Michaels, even with shipping, and I received my shipment in 3 days even though I only paid for standard shipping. Unfortunately I've had exactly the opposite experience with Joann.com. I ordered fabric on 10/25 and still haven't received it.
